You certainly noticed that in the ALARM mode ( one of the DIGITAL MODES ) which is offered by the Citizen Ana Digi Temp – in addition to display the Alarm Time, the Temperature is also visible at the same time … see below.
However, the value of the temperature does not change ! it is as if frozen ! … What does it mean ?
I would add that the real temperature ( in real time ) we measure in the DATE – Calendar & Temperature Mode.
ALARM mode shows the Alarm Time and shows the Temperature measured at this time, in my case at 0:00 am / 24:00 Hour.
Depending on the scale in which you are measuring the temperature – Celsius or Fahrenheit scale, on the same scale, the Citizen watch will now display the measured temperature.
* How to change Digital Modes and how to change the Scales you will find on How to use Digital Modes.
Before you start using this an interesting feature called as Temp. Memory Function, you should choose the Scale and the Alarm Time because “The Temp. Memory Function data is cancelled when the alarm time id changed” * Citizen’s words.
In other words The Citizen Ana Digi Temp has a built-in memory and stores temperature measurement ? made at time ( the same as setting Alarm time – How to set Alarm Time ). Even if you don?t use the alarm and you turn it off !
Regardless of whether you have the alarm on (or are currently using it) or not, the watch measures the temperature every 24 hours and records it, or more precisely, overwrites it !
The measurement result is stored only 24 hours ! to the next measurement . Old measurement is deleted and replaced by a new measurement.
“Thus you can know the temperature at the same time every day or at a certain moment designated optionally” *Citizen’s words.
Temperature Memory Function – an excellent Description, I was looking for just that !
I didn’t know exactly what’s going on with this Temperature – Function ?
Through your site I now know how to use the Storage of Temperature.
Thanks
We’re glad we could help you.
